Meet Jacqueline

The Heart Behind Spiral

I started Spiral Interior Spaces because I believe every home deserves to feel intentional and beautiful. Design has always been more than a job for me — it's where my creativity comes alive. I pour that energy into every single project, whether it's a full kitchen gut renovation or helping a client pick the perfect countertop slab.

I'm hands-on from day one. I'll sit with you in our Boxborough showroom, listen to your vision, and work through every detail until we land on something that feels right. I'm not afraid of the hard work it takes to get there — long hours, problem-solving on the fly, finding creative solutions when things don't go as planned. That's what I love about this work.

My clients trust me because I'm honest, I care about quality, and I bring fresh ideas to the table every time. If you're ready to transform your space, I'd love to hear from you.

Remodeling Guide

Choosing the Right Contractor

Hiring a remodeling contractor is one of the biggest decisions you'll make for your home. At Spiral Interior Spaces, we want you to feel confident in that choice — whether you work with us or someone else. Here are the key things to look for.

01

Research Potential Contractors

Check the Better Business Bureau, Google reviews, and Yelp for any contractor you're considering. Look for consistent positive feedback and how the company responds to concerns. In the greater Boston area, word-of-mouth referrals from neighbors are especially valuable.

02

Contact References

Ask for a list of past clients you can speak with. Good questions to ask: Did the crew show up on time? Was the same team there each day? Did they clean up every night? Were unexpected issues handled quickly and fairly? Were you happy with the final quality?

03

Understand Pricing

Quality craftsmanship and efficient timelines come at a fair price. Be wary of unusually low bids — they often mean corners will be cut. Discuss payment schedules upfront: some contractors require deposits or progress payments. Make sure the plan fits your budget.

04

Ask About Scheduling

Clarify the timeline before work begins. Will the contractor focus solely on your project, or juggle multiple jobs? Will they work weekdays, weekends, or both? A clear schedule helps you plan around the disruption and sets expectations for completion.

05

Discuss Change Orders

Beware of contractors who low-ball the initial bid then add surprise costs after demo. At Spiral, we do our best to anticipate potential issues — plumbing, electrical, subfloor conditions — before we quote. We're experienced with homes of all ages throughout the greater Boston area, and we know what's behind the walls.

06

Expect the Unexpected

Remodeling always has surprises — especially in kitchens and bathrooms where water damage can hide behind walls. Build a small contingency into your budget for the unexpected. Problems can be solved — just don't be surprised when they pop up.

How We Work

Our Process for Success

At Spiral Interior Spaces, we guide you through every phase — from your first visit to final walkthrough. One point of contact, clear communication, and no surprises. Here's how your project unfolds.

1

Let's Talk

Visit our Boxborough showroom or schedule a call. We'll get to know your vision, discuss your budget, talk timelines, and make sure we're the right fit. We'll be upfront about what to expect — the exciting parts and the challenging ones.

2

Design & Planning

We develop the project scope together — selecting cabinets, countertops, tiles, and hardware. Our design team creates a detailed plan with specifications and selections so you know exactly what you're getting before any work begins.

3

Project Agreement

Once the design is finalized, we provide a clear, guaranteed price. We walk you through every detail of the agreement — scope of work, payment schedule, timeline, and logistics. No hidden fees, no fine print surprises.

4

Construction & Installation

We handle ordering materials, coordinating trades, and managing every detail. Throughout the build, you'll receive regular updates so you always know where your project stands. One point of contact means consistent communication.

5

Changes Along the Way

No matter how carefully we plan, you may want to make adjustments once you see things taking shape. We accommodate changes with a transparent process — you'll know the cost and timing impact before anything changes.

6

Final Walkthrough & Warranty

Before we consider the job done, we do a thorough inspection to ensure every detail meets our standards. We walk through the finished space with you, answer any questions, and do a final cleanup. We stand behind our work — if anything needs attention, we're here.

Client Stories

Hear From Our Clients

Before and after: Full kitchen renovation with white shaker cabinets and quartz countertops Before & After
★★★★★

We spent months going back and forth about redoing our kitchen and honestly wish we had found Jacqueline sooner. She walked us through every option without ever being pushy — helped us pick the right cabinets, countertop, backsplash, all of it. The KraftMaid cabinets she recommended are gorgeous and the soft-close drawers alone were worth it. The whole project took about five weeks from demo to final walkthrough and she kept us updated the entire time. Our kitchen actually feels like a completely different house now. Already told our neighbors.

Before and after: Small galley kitchen remodel with new cabinets and flooring Before & After
★★★★★

We had a tight budget and a small galley kitchen that hadn't been touched since the 90s. Jacqueline worked with what we had and found us Fabuwood cabinets that look way more expensive than they were. She also suggested a quartz counter we never would have picked on our own and it completely made the space. Really appreciate that she didn't try to upsell us on things we didn't need.

Good experience overall. The countertop install was quick and looks great. Only reason for 4 stars is scheduling took a bit longer than expected, but the end result was worth the wait.

Bathroom Renovation

Before and after: Bathroom vanity upgrade with modern fixtures Before & After

Just finished our bathroom vanity project with Jacqueline. Went in not really knowing what we wanted and left the showroom with a clear plan in under an hour. Vanity was installed two weeks later, looks incredible. Clean work, no mess left behind. Will definitely be back for the kitchen next year.

I'm an interior designer and I've been sending my clients to Jacqueline for about a year now. Her showroom is small but curated — she carries quality lines and actually knows the products inside and out. What I appreciate most is that she treats my clients the same whether it's a $5K vanity swap or a $40K kitchen gut. Consistent quality, fair pricing, and she communicates well. That's really all you can ask for.

Before and after: Master bathroom renovation with walk-in shower and new vanity Before & After
★★★★★

We'd been putting off our master bath for years because every contractor we talked to made it feel overwhelming. A friend recommended Jacqueline and from the very first visit to the showroom, things felt different. She pulled out samples, showed us what would work in our space, and was honest when something wouldn't. We ended up going with a frameless glass walk-in shower, new porcelain tile throughout, and a floating double vanity that she sourced from a line we'd never heard of but absolutely love. The whole project wrapped in under four weeks and Jacqueline checked in almost daily. What really stood out was how she handled a small plumbing issue that came up mid-project — she coordinated everything with the plumber herself so we didn't have to chase anyone down. Our bathroom feels like a boutique hotel now and we still can't believe it's ours.

Before and after: Kitchen counter and backsplash transformation Before & After
★★★★★

I originally came in just wanting new countertops but Jacqueline suggested we do the backsplash at the same time to really pull the whole kitchen together. So glad I listened. She helped me choose a calacatta quartz that has these subtle gray veins running through it and paired it with a herringbone marble mosaic backsplash that ties everything in perfectly. I was nervous about the cost but she was upfront about pricing from day one and actually came in slightly under what she quoted me. The templating and install were super professional — the seams are practically invisible. My sister came over last weekend and asked if we'd done a full kitchen remodel. Nope, just counters and backsplash. That's the Jacqueline difference.

Before and after: Complete kitchen overhaul with new cabinets, countertops, and flooring Before & After
★★★★★

Jacqueline did our entire kitchen — cabinets, countertops, flooring, everything. We bought our house knowing the kitchen needed work and honestly expected the renovation to be stressful. It was the opposite. She came to the house, took measurements, then had us into the showroom the following week with a plan already sketched out. The Forevermark cabinets she recommended are solid wood and the soft-close everything still makes me smile. She also talked us into luxury vinyl plank flooring instead of the hardwood we were considering — said it would hold up better with two kids and a dog — and she was absolutely right. Six months later, not a scratch. If you're on the fence about working with Jacqueline, just go talk to her. You'll know within five minutes that she actually cares about getting it right.

Don't Let This Happen to You

Design Fail Wall of Shame

We love what we do—but we also know what happens when corners get cut. Here are real examples of why choosing the right team matters.

DIY home improvement gone wrong DIY Disaster

"I Watched a YouTube Video"

When saving money costs you the whole project. This is what happens when cabinet installation meets overconfidence.

DIY tile job gone wrong Tile Tragedy

The "Close Enough" Tile Job

Grout lines should be straight. Tiles should be level. This is neither. A professional tile setter would have finished this in half the time—correctly.

Sometimes a bold design choice is just… a bad design choice. Every bathroom deserves a plan that actually works for the space.

That "deal" contractor left mid-job and took the deposit. Now it costs twice as much to fix. Always check references.

When the Fridge Doesn't Fit

Measure twice, cut once—or don't measure at all and end up on the internet. Proper kitchen planning prevents this entirely.

This tile work tells a story—and it's a horror story. Precision matters, especially in surfaces you'll see every single day.
